Carrizo Springs was a good team, much better than their record showed. Junior QB Brett Hicks went down early in the game though with a messed up MCL. Hopefully he only stretched it and and didn't tear it so he can play next week. JV sophomore QB Ryan Tierney took over and did a great job, especially for his first varsity action. See Bellville or Burnet in the next round!

oh my, if bellville wins tommorrow, it will be the same route as last year, burnett then bandera, lets just hope its a little closer this year, but this might get exciting. (IF)

Looks like Tierney will get the start. In his high school career he has lost only one game so the kid knows how to win. The game plan will be around him and not Hicks. The Bandera offense will be a much different offense next week. See Burnet of Bellville in the next round!
