He was at Lake Travis. Not sure where he was this year.

He didn't coach last year. Left his last gig when his wife got the volleyball HC gig at Coppell. It was late in the year, so he spent 1/2 a year in private business. Lovejoy got a steal here! I'd expect the transition to 4a to be much smoother than it may had been otherwise.

I'm stoked... Never been to Lake Travis, but from what I've heard there are a lot of parallels between them and Lovejoy.

Is there a code for that? Kinda like "East Texas Speed"...

Mine is one of the few minority housholds.

For an individual you just call them a Wes Welker type receiver.

I'm not sure what it is for an entire town.

In football talk, you call them "farm kids".

I thought that name sounded familiar.

There are farm kids at Lake Travis and Lovejoy like there are Polar Bears in Antarctica.

Hey, a lot of those kids parents own farms and ranches (as weekend toys). Also Fairview and Lucas, which make up the majority of Lovejoy's land mass, both have the town motto's of "keeping it country". I'm still trying to figure out what country they are talking about...

They're talking about the little bit of country that hasn't been developed close to Plano, lol. Anywhere from 1-10 acres for those that don't live in a subdivision. That's probably less than 20% of the households now.

Most of the subdivisions are an acre + minimum.
