Guess what? I don't know if any of you are paying attention, but Argyle is Top Ten in football, boys basketball, and now baseball so far for 2011-12. I realize basketball is not over yet, but Argyle should go undefeated thru district and maybe a couple of playoff games. We have too many state contenders in Region II again. And in baseball, we finished high last year, and will carry that forward this year. I don't know about track, but we usually contend in Regionals very well. Have won boys state before. We have a shot again this year at the Lone Star cup with our Band winning state again. Go Eagles.

Lone Star cup should be close this year. These are only pre-season baseball rankings, and there is a good chance that Lovejoy will move up. So far we are doing well in basketball, and I agree that Region II has too many state contenders, again.

Sinton returns alot of players with experience. Very good group of soph,jr and sr class for this season. They should be better than last year overall as a team. They added a pitcher from Taft that transfer before the christmas break.

Congrats Yoakum with your Top 10 pre-season ranking. One of our most talented teams projected. Solid pitching depth. Five of 6 deep to toe the bump. Quality bench. With the new bat's being used -- our contact hitters, coupled with the fastest team we've ever had, should make for some exciting Bulldog baseball games for the fans. The Dogs speed will force the pitcher to throw strikes, or them walks will turn into triples, quickly.
