Im glad you rooted for the Broncos. I had my fill of Tim Tebow this, Tim Tebow that, all things Tebow. Got old fast.

I was 3 for 4 on my picks this weekend.

Discount Double Check let me down.

Now we get to see Eli and his always dumb look on his face another week, at least.

I was 3 for 4 on my picks, too, but the one I missed was NO / SF. I knew it was a toss-up, though. I had the Giants defeating the Packers in my picks because Green Bay's defense is extremely porous, and the Giants are arguably the hottest team in the NFL right now.

I'll trump that one with betting on these two to win. The 49ers and the Patriots go down!

I hope.....

I wouldn't mind seeing a 49ers vs. Pats Superbowl.

Defense vs. Offense

What I was really hoping for was NO or GB vs. NE. I wanted to see what the over was going to be from Vegas. It was going to have to be 70 or more.

I will be the first to admit that I was pulling for the loser in each of the four games. I can't believe I couldn't get one of them to the championship round. The game I probably cared the least about was the saints and 49ers. I could make myself happy either way that game went, I like things about both teams.

BITE YOUR TONGUE! Ain't no REAL Texan roots for the 49ers!:ack!: I will never root for them, I don't care who they play. They are good, though. I think the Giants will take them in a close one. The Giants are the hottest team in the NFL, and at the right time. Good defense, and an even better offense, the Giants have the "it" factor going for them this year, in my opinion. Have you been watching the 3rd down conversion rate for the Giants? Good grief! Eli Manning, and his offense, are converting 3rd and short, 3rd and medium, AND 3rd and long better than any team in recent memory.

3rd downs is where it's at.

1st down- pass, incomplete

2nd down- run, 2 yard gain

3rd down- pass, missed tackle, first down

repeat

Yep. Either that, or a blown coverage, or a hail Mary, or a soft spot in the zone. It doesn't seem to matter...... Everything is working.....

Not bad for a coach who was supposed to be fired in 2007 and earlier this season. haha

No kidding. His team just got hot at the right time. If they hadn't I think he would've probably gotten the axe. You know how those New York fans are....... This Giant team reminds me of the '07 - '08 team that got hot at the right time, and ended up beating New England in the Super Bowl.

I'm thinking we see both of those teams in this year's Super Bowl.

im one of the ones that actually called the Giants as well. On paper IMO they have more talent across the board than GB but same as the Ravens they will throw in a terrible game to leave you thinking what the hell. As a 49er fan i cant tell you how happy i am Eli played like that so there will be another home game in San Fran.
