Dennis Smith and cousin Bubba Robinson had a wreck on the way back from houston last night. I hear Dennis may be ok but Bubba is not. Keep them in your thoughts please.

Its been a crazy 2012. Wimberley RB Dennis Smith was in a car wreck last night. He only sustained minor injuries, but Dennis' cousin, Bubba Robinson, lost his life. He played for the Texans in '11. Our thoughts are with Dennis and his family.

Wow. Had my daughter in tears after I told her what had happened (former classmates). At least we have hope and continued prayers for this young man, his family, and all those affected.

In honor and celebration of Bubba's life. Bring candle sticks (extra's if you have them) lighters, food, maybe music. Pictures of Bubba. If anyone wants to make a speech they're more than welcome too! Its tomorrow 1-16-12 at 7:30pm. EVERYONE invited. Make sure to wear warm clothes of course! Let's all show Bubba our love for him as he will be looking down on Wimberley.

Prayers from Burnet. A parents worst nightmare is to lose a child. So sad. I read this thread knowing my boy was on his way back to San Angelo. You can't help but worrying about them getting there safely. All we can do is put life in Gods hands. RIP #4.

Prayers for all those surrounding these young men. I didn't know that the accident occured here in Lee county. The local paper had pictures of the car and scene. I believe it said the wreck happened around 3:45 AM on Hwy 21. The Altima was horrifically torn in half after hitting a tree. Making some assumptions, they might have been in the College Station area as late as 3:00 AM?


Folks, please preach to your kids that driving while sleepy is just as dangerous as DWI. After seeing pictures of the car, It was a miracle that Dennis was unhurt. Prayers for him to deal with this.
