I can see how this would be a worthy rule for the NCAA to adopt. It gives every institution an even playing field in scouting, recruiting, and eventually awarding scholarships to prospective high school athletes without undue presence. It should have little or no effect on our Texas-based 7-on-7 program, as we have many quality facilities to sponsor such an event.

A nice municipal soccer complex should do the the trick. HoT Soccer Complex in Waco.

IMO this makes it easier for street agents.
Since A&M can no longer host and they are officially in the SEC July 1st? Will the new venue be played at this year?

The NCAA banned all 7 on 7 from all College Campuses nationwide. Has nothing to do with the SEC.

Perfect complex in Frisco. Fields are always in great shape here is a link to the layout of the complex.

I had the same thought this week. You could have 3-5 fields on one side of the street and 2 on the other.

If I am not mistaken they can not hold it at any ISD either.

Actually bigger than Penberthy at Texas A&M. At least 18 full-size football fields. The state tournament used 11 at TAMU.

I am not really taking about playing area. There is nowhere near the amount of parking needed at HOT. Been there a lot of times. Its a great complex. Just not big enough.

What is the UIL's rule on a High School campus hosting tournaments?Nothing, they are held at HS campuses all summer. My question is, I am assuming that this ruling includes Tarleton's tournament? Anybody know?

Tarleton can't host tournament anymore..
ETBU in East Texas has a tournament(Non-SQT) and they won't be able to have it anymore either.
