Very nice Wimberley. What a great year, and I enjoyed watching all the Texans playoff games and meeting some very nice 3ADL'ers from there.

And looking at "Texas State Ranking" they are #8????? Higher than, just to name a few, Longview and Desoto? Alrighty then.

that is how nutty "rankings" get when all some writer does is look at records.....there are probably 40 5A teams and at least 12-15 4A teams better than Wimberly.....but throw a title and a good record out and writers lose their minds...

Heck I would bet Alvarado is better than Wimberly....not to mention CHill.....none of which are top 20 in the state....

but congrats on a wonderous 3A season....

I believe there is a little different criteria used for how and why these teams are selected. Why don't the individuals that are just a little bitter lighten up. Let us have our year. Lord knows we've had our fill of listening to the chest thumping from the other regions, especially out east. I don't know how many times throughout the 2011 season it was posted how Wimberley would struggle once we played non Region 4 teams. Must have been a down year for you guys.
