So if the Super Bowl ended up being two teams that played each other earlier in the year, you wouldn't watch that either?

big difference they would end up going thru a play off system to meet...Being picked by voters in a system that claims the regular season is the the play offs, then turning around and having a replay of a regular season game shows the BCS is flawe thinking.

I have a hard time convincing myself that these aren't the two best teams in the country.

CAN NOT WAIT!!!............ You don't need to score 80 pts to have a helluva game.
Without a doubt the two best teams.

I agree but if the winner could play Oklahoma State it would be even more convincing.

Oakie St. cost themselves their shot by losing to u-know who. That loss was un-called for. I am still for the playoff system-110%.

As the NFL bears out, teams are different toward the end of the season for many reasons. It just make logical sense to have a playoff system in place in Div. I College Football, end of story. I will watch the game, but I don't agree with the way we have these particular teams matched. A win for BAMA still leaves Okla. State and Oregon, and LSU for that matter, with a legitimate complaint. Just have a playoff system, and end the debates with an on-field champion.

Although, it's hard to argue that these aren't the two best teams in the BCS, I still think the two teams playing for the MNC should have at least won their conferences. Okie Light had a slip-up against Iowa State, but if you'll remember that was the week that OSU lost those two coaches, and emotionally they must've been a little drained. That could've had something to do with the OT loss. I think the NC game should've included Okie Light, or even Stanford, but NOT Alabama for the reasons stated. I will watch the game, though, just because it's the last college team game of the year.

So if Alabama win say 14-10. They would have beaten LSU in Lousiana and LSU would have beaten them in Bama. Who then is the MNC?

BEASTNeutral site game though...each team is allotted the same amount of tickets.

Whoever wins tonight should be considered the champion no matter the score. The system is the system like it or not and the athletes should not have their moment taken away because they are forced to compete under that system.

I would prefer a playoff system vs what we have now but I still plan to watch the game. LSU should win it again, would like to see a TD or two this round.

The whole set up really isn't fair to LSU, they beat Alabama once, but with the voters putting Alabama against them again, Alabama can beat LSU now and be national champs.... so the voters are basically saying, "Hey LSU, you have to beat them twice to win a championship but they only have to beat you once."

I'll watch, but I hate the system.
