So glad I decided to go. Enjoyed this very much. Amazing atmosphere. Took a few pictures. Fox 7, KXAN, and YNN Austin were also there. People I didn't know just wanting to talk about the team past, present, and future.

Funny looking at the Lake Travis parade, comparing it with ours. Travis kids riding in the latest Lexus, Porches, Mercedes, etc.. I think I even saw a very nice cruise/ski boat. We had a couple of squeaky wheeled flat bed trailers, one being pulled by a local concrete/construction business work truck. LOL..

It could be worse, though. Wimberley could've won state in spelling.

What people do to us on a regular basis is to call us "Gilmore." I think our trophies are correct, though, or I'd have heard about it.

Happens more often than not. This is a city direction sign after recent road construction. It's still there. LOL...

to be fair... that's not the UIL trophy. that looks like a trophy that Cowboys Stadium would provide.

I'm sure the information was provided by the UIL but who's to say that it wasn't the engraver/plate etcher that just screwed up.
