I don't know a lot about Everman, Matt, have they crossed into different categories, i.e. going to 4A, over the years?

Everman had been 4A for a LONG time..I think since UIL went to 5A in 1981 I think..before that they had been 3A from 1971-1980..something like that...there is an overall history of Everman football on the website..

Thanks, helped a lot. I guess you guys were 3A when Ennis took the 3A title back in 75. Was my freshman year at SMU that year and I thought it sounded familiar. I caught a few of those Ennis games that year.

Yes I believe Everman was 3A back then..they weren't very good however...between 1962 and 1979 Everman had one winning season...then in 1979 things turned around big time...Everman since then has been a force in 4A and 3A...
