AC/DC Back In Black

ah yes...Back in Black...definitely in my top 10....but one album I have never gotten tired of for whatever reasons: KANSAS - LEFTOVERTURE...released in 1976....not only do I know all the lyrics to every song....I can flatulate every song almost note for note...course, everyone leaves the room soon after..!!
If some of you folks have never listened to it, by all means do it...there was some serious thought put into that music....very orchestral..very complex...
Anyway, LEFTOVERTURE runs slightly ahead of my second favorite all-time album, Justin Bieber's - Under the Mistletoe!...hehehe.......

'dookie' by green day...

Dookie has sold over 14 or 15 million albums worldwide. I've not heard it. Saw a CD of Dookie at Half-Price Books. It was on the $3 shelves. I grabbed it. Put it back. Moved on and went back to get it minutes later and it was gone. When I went to pay for my other CD's, I saw some freaky lookin' dude in front of me with the Dookie CD in hand.....thought about punchin' him out in the parking lot and takin' it from em', but I chickened out....had Greendawg been with me, it would've been a done deal and I'd be listenin' to Dookie........:crying:

Bull, I have every album Bob Dylan made. All are vinyls, and I kept the collection together all these years. I also have alot of original Doors, Beatles, and CCR. At one time I just gave away about half my collection, it was so immense. There were real rare albums in that group.

Ventura Highway- America
Heard It in a Love Song- Marshall Tucker Band
What a Fool Believes- Doobie Brothers

Angel Flying Too Close To the Ground- Willie Nelson
Mr. Bojangles- Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
November Rain- Guns N' Roses

Nothing's Going To Stop Us Now- Jefferson Starship
Stranger- Johnny Duncan & Janie Fricke
The Lord's Prayer- Il Divo
San Francisco- Scott McKenzie
I'll Be Your Shelter- Taylor Dayne
Faithfully- Journey
White Bird- It's A Beautiful Day
Oh Girl- Chilites
What's Your Name-Don & Juan
In the Still of the Night- Five Satins
Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen
Glitter In The Air- Pink
Keep You- Sugarland
Somewhere Out There- Ray Anthony
In the Mood- Glenn Miller
Where Have All the Flowers Gone- Peter, Paul, and Mary
Like a Rolling Stone- Bob Dylan

It Must Have Been Love- Roxette
Gloria- Laura Branigan
Si No Te Hubieras Ido- Marco Antonio Solis

I could go on forever--but how's that for being all over the music "map"? I just love music---hope some of you will download and listen to some of my favs just to see if you might like different types of music...

Boz Skaggs...I had forgotten about him. He's still out there touring from what I understand. Too bad Bradley Delp (Boston lead singer) took his own life. That was sad. I'll bet that band would be out touring again just like all the others. I never got to see Boston. I know guitarist Tom Scholtz is still out there touring with the Boston name, but it'll never be the same without Bradley....
FYI: My 12 year old loves Boston!! Loves the guitar sound that was unique to this band thanks to Scholtz's design of the Rockman effects box.

Foreigner - Foreigner, Double Vision
Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle, and their second one (can't remember the name)

Stevie Ray Vaughan - all of 'em
Eric Clapton - some of 'em
Van Halen - Van Halen
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall
The Doobie Brothers
The Eagles - most of 'em
Lynyrd Skynyrd - any of 'em
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms

Country
Any George Strait - I've got all of 'em, including Straight Out of the Box
Any George Jones
Any Charley Pride
Some Hank Jr.
Dwight Yoakum
Any Gary Stewart
Johnny Lee
Charlie Daniels Band
Don Williams
Garth Brooks
Keith Whitley
I've also got a few more I can't think of........AND there's a few new ones I like, too.

I also have several soul, easy listening, pop, disco, rhythm and blues CDs to choose from, too.

Once again, my favorites are a mixture of the songs I pick, a lot of which are by "flash-in-the pan" groups who may have had only one or two really good songs.
