Aransas Pass next head coach

Kris tv is reporting that coach Russell Lee is out at Aransas Pass and coach Gary Davenport will be his replacement, they are scheduled to make an announcement later this week....coach Davenport was the panthers head coach on the 90's....he last coached 3years ago at 2a George West, also made stops at Sinton and at 5a Corpus Christi Carrol.:2thumbsup

The only two I know for sure are Davenport and Grover. I think they are bringing another former AP coach back (that coached with one of these two), but I am uncertain of his name. Time will tell...it is hard to get good information unless you just happen to run into the right person to ask.

With the names mentioned so far, Aransas Pass will be very, very well-coached. Expect to see them do great very soon.

I think one place where the previous coach (coach Russell Lee) fail AP was when he would schedule a cupcake pre district schedule mostly 2a teams and it did nothing to prepare them for district, I sure hope coach Davenport gets these guys ready for district as im sure he will have them ready....its always fun when every game in district is a battle!!!
