Gainsville played a great game last night and had a great year. Congratulations, they are truely the No. 1 Division 1 team in the state.

Last year Burnet beat Bandera, who went on to win the Division II State Championship. This year Burnet beat Marlin, who has an exceelent chance of winning the Division II State Championship, if they win does that mean that Burnet really should be the Division II Champs for 02 and 03? The answer is no, and its such a silly thought that it would be a classless act for anyone to even claim it. Lets not cheapen the playoff process. In everyones mind they can believe what ever they want about their team, but lets show some respect to those boys that have made it to that final game, they wouldnt be there if they hadnt earned it. Above all lets all try to show some class.
