OSU getting mashed by bigger Stanford 14-0 in 2nd. OSU has got to find some offense to get back in this one---otherwise, it's over.

Wow--Stanford player keeps his own KO returner from getting out of end zone by tackling him...

2 touches, 2 TDs for Blackmon. Keep feeding him the ball.

Defensive stand-off in 1st Qtr to shootout in 2nd Qtr--what next?

Agree on Blackmon--guy can fly--they need to continue to throw it up to him--- he's going to need a pack mule to take his NFL check to the bank after his rookie-cap year.

Isn't that #33 Taylor from Texas? He's having a great game as well.

Yea--I think they said Mansfield. He's plenty stout and fast.

This may end up being the best BCS Bowl of the bunch---21-21 w :27 to half.

Jamie Blatnick and Caleb Lavey from Celina start on defense for OK State. Blatnick (senior) is #50 and a d-end. Lavey(sophomore) is #45 and linebacker.

Gift wrapped fumble for OSU and only get 3 points. Lack of a running game hurting them.

Both of them playing very well, too, Bobcat.

EVERYBODY KNOWS the SEC is the toughest conference, right? So how is it that the Big 12 has the best bowl record? This was supposed to be a dying conference with no future.

CONFERENCE BOWL RECORDS
Bowl Subdivision Record
Atlantic Coast 2-4
Big 12 6-1
Big East 2-1
Big Ten 3-6
Conference USA 3-1
Independents (FBS) 1-1
Mid-American 3-1
Mountain West 2-3
Pac-12 2-5
Southeastern 4-2
Sun Belt 1-1
Western Athletic 0-3

Maybe because only Stanford and Rutgers had better than a 7/6 record? Oh, with Arkansas, there's 3 teams out of 8. With only Stanford and Arkansas being ranked in the top 25. Whereas, the SEC played schools with an average record of 8/4 with 3 of the schools being ranked in the top 20 and one of the others (Cincinnati) having 10 wins.

Oh and I didn't count LSU and Alabama in the numbers.

Don't get me wrong. I was a big proponent of letting the Big 12 die and having the Texas and Oklahoma schools be part of the Pacific superconference (except for A&M, of course, which was always going to head back to the Confederacy for cultural reasons).

It would also have strengthened the Pac Whatever (which needs help, to be honest) to have done that.

I just think this is an amusing outcome for all the Big 12 haters out there. Of course, A&M and Mizzou's bowl game wins would count for the SEC if we were one year in the future. But OTOH, TCU's and West Virginia's (should they pull a mild upset over Clemson) would make up for that.
