Going to a dance at the American Legion Hall in East Bernard to hear a country band called Legacy-Its only a 10-minuter drive from our house in Hungeford. Will to to church service earlier in the afternoon and then out to eat in the Richmond-Sugar Land area off of Hwy 59-.Have already bought our bottle of champagne and some snacks

Last year ETB was my designated driver and he caught me sittin the lap of a very big Italian girl. My bottom was so sore the next morning. ETB is a horrible designated driver BTW.

Yep, I've wandered over there in the wee hours of the morning when I couldn't get anything to eat at the Gaylord. I think the Gaylord has one shop that stays open 24 hours, but they had some Indian (dot not feather) doctors convention and there were 300 people waiting around for service at 3 am. I'm a Taco Cabana / Breakfast Taco guy (residual from my San Antonio Days), however Whataburger will always do in a late night crunch.

Just got home from dining out with the wife. Almost got rear ended by black Ford Thuderbird. I swerved off the road at the last minute or he would have hit us. He never slowed down at all. I don't think he ever saw us!

They played real traditional country music with a steel guitar and fiddle player

They served cabbage with blackeyed peas and cornbread at midnight
Can't beat that for $10 a person
