Missouri has some tough games but not as tough as the Aggies.

I have them a possible 5-3 maybe 4-4 first year in conference play. They will make a bowl game with their non-conference wins. Optimistic maybe, but that is what I am calling. Write it down, and let's see later, I prolly won't forget my predictions, but all of you won't believe me later when I say, "I CALLED THIS".

Only if you win. Sorry but no one wants to be on a losing record team with no bowl games

I think the Ags can play with and beat MizzU, Miss. St., Ole Miss., Arkansas, and Auburn.

they can play with Mizzou and Ole miss..does not mean they can beat them( with A&M losing so much)...I dont think they will get close to Auburn or Arky, and Miss State is a damn good 6-6 team..lst to Bama 24-7 and LSU 16-9..all 6 of their losses were to ranked teams at the time and the SEC east champ

Looks like 1-7 in league play for the Ags to me! No bowl, more money wasted on a losing effort!

I know you are optimistic and all, but a lot of things have to happen. New coaching staff, new conference... Miracle.

3 wins in conference.

Prolly lose a couple bad, upset 1 team and get 2 decent wins.

Might go 6-6 and get a bowl. We'll see

Hope you're right, 32.5 million is a lot of green for 6-6 season, and that is a stretch!

Definitely an uphill battle, but I look at it as the Big 12 (or whatever it was), was not a cakewalk. Not on the same tier as the top SEC teams at the moment, but no cake walk. If they can shore up the defense, have some strong reserves (LB's and secondary), and get a QB that can take the pressure, they'll be able to compete. Lot of ifs.

Auburn returns the house--we're loaded going into 2012.

The Michael Dyer situation (our best offensive player, far and away one of the two best RB's in the SEC) is still up in the air, but we're absolutely loaded at RB and the loss is much more negligible than losing, say, a QB. Arkie loses Jarius White and Joe Adams, but get back Cobi Hamilton and all their young receivers (they're pretty high on a lot of the kids who didn't get any PT) along with QB Tyler Wilson.

Now Mississippi State has one of the best coaches in the nation, but loses Chris Relf. That's a winnable game.

A&M has the talent on the roster right now to compete in the SEC with the big boys, I'm just interested to see how that talent responds to Sumlin and if they get mentally tougher going into 2012. The SEC's the big boys. If you're not mentally tough, they'll grind you out of every game. Even the less-than-stellar defensive teams (Auburn) bring the wood. You get licked every play--it's just a different level of physicality than the Big XII. You'd better be able to pick yourself up off the mat in the third and fourth quarters if you hope to have success.
