So what are these projections based on? If the top will not be above 999, does that mean it is 999? Since Stephenville is projected I guess that means it is 999 based on the counts I have seen so far.

435-999 is what he listed as the lower and upper limits for his predictions.

We will all know for sure in a little over a month.

We have been lucky the last several years and havent had to drive more than 60 miles for a district game. I would like to keep it that way!

Heck if I know, I had never heard of the place before Brownwood had a playoff game there last year. :)

The positive of this projected new district is that we'd stand a real solid chance of ending our longest playoff drought in 30 years.

The negative would be the travel to four districts opponents that are all 120 plus miles from Sweetwater. But, it could be worse. Atleast it's not Monahans, Pecos and Fort Stockton like it was in the 80s.

First district was mostly over 100 miles a trip the second was mostly under 100. But it never failed evry two years we would go back and forth. We never stayed put more than one realignment.

I believe when Springtown was 3A they were typically paired with Lake Worth and Aledo then paired with other teams like Castleberry, Diamond Hill, Bridgeport, Decatur, I think Justin Northwest maybe..
