I guess I am out of the loop. I had no idea high school kids used heroin. Sad stuff.

yea ur out of loop lol PLano, Texas had it so bad 10 years ago MTV came to the town and did live town hall meetings and a couple of documentaries about it

In the 80's Plano High was know as Heroin High, suicide High

That is sad. Prayers out to his family and friends. If I recall he was a heck of a football player.

I thought the reality of living in Plano was pretty nice.....maybe that is just on the surface. I wonder what the kids were trying to escape from, boredom? Around here, most folks get pretty upset if they find out a kid is smoking pot.

in Plano the problem was too many parents with mucho dollars and no sense.....they handed the kids a new car, a cell phone and a credit card to cover whatever they wanted and the kids could go buy stuff on the card, trade the stuff for drugs or cash, and then party to show how "cool" they were....I knew a few of those daddies and it was all about buyin the love since they worked so much....and some of em bought that love enough to get to bury them when they were young....sure was a good up close lesson for my kids to learn from....
