Somebody want to que the Hugo Montenegro music from the final gunfight at the end of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" ? It would be very appropriate.

If the Cowboys do not come out in this one like mad, vengeful dogs with their playoff lives on the line, then they officially need to be fitted with dresses. Go Cowboys!

I agree! Personally, I think they have to win THIS game to make it to the postseason. If they lose I think they lose to the Giants, too.

I don't know if I agree. You could be right, but I don't put it past the boys to blow this one, then win the Giant game in a big way, then lose in the first round of the playoffs. Will be interesting over the next couple weeks. Time to see what we are made of.

I disagree..this team has shown the ability to shake off bad losses..plus we have to see where Giants are because they are more of a headcase team than Dallas

Don't get me wrong, I think the Cowboys CAN beat the Giants, even if they lose to the Eagirls. I also think the Cowboys CAN beat the Eagirls, and still come back and beat the Giants. I've said it before, I just don't think the Cowboys will make the playoffs if they don't win out. The Cowboys are just a little too inconsistent to make any calls right now.

By the way, my opinion is that the Cowboys will win both.

I fully expect for them to ruin my Christmas Eve dinner and then make my New Year's Eve hangover even worse! :ack!:

Ahhh, the life of a Cowboy fan! :)

If the Cowboys only won two games a season and both were against the Eagles, I would consider it a successful season.

A Cowboys win will be celebrated, but I won't let a loss bother me in the least. Just don't expect them to do much anyway, even if they do make the playoffs. Just makes for good TV-watching over the holidays is all. It would be nice to have the Boyz AND the Texans to watch in the playoffs in the same year, though.

Here we go. Have no clue which Boys team will show up. So much on the line in regards to being playoff ready. Do they have the ability to play like a potential playoff team? Your guess is as good as mine.

One of those NFL differences...in our game they could have taken the penalty or the result of the play in this situation, not both.

Nevermind--suddenly this has become a relatively meaningless game with the Giants win over the Jets. Next week against the Giants for all the playoff marbles. Sure hate to lose to those dirty birds twice, though.

True, but Dallas has to get things lined out just for confidence sake. The players have to think they can't beat anyone in playoff contention at this point.

I would much rather the local channels replay the best high school games from the year as opposed to this trash the NFL has.

The Cowgirls are done. And you can put it in 3 inch headlines!

The cowboys had no desire to win that game especially when the giants won. Garrett started pulling starters after romo got hurt. They were saving players for next week. I am hoping they are fired up for next week with a healthy romo!

The only thing I will say about this game is that you hear this term used a lot in basketball - one team just presents too many 'match up problems' for another team. I think that's the case with this Eagles team. The Cowboys just do not match up well.

I will say one more thing. Overall the secondary was pitiful, but not only is Terrance Newman done physically, he is not a competitor. That guy just simply does not compete. Hate him and unfortunately it seems to have rubbed off on some of his teammates. This defense needs a major overhaul in the offseason.

I agree the secondary was bad and are in general, but to hold the eagles to 20 even though should have been 27, is good considering they were on the field the whole game.

But, the Eagles knew once the Giants won that their season was over. I think it's fair to say that once Romo went out and they realized they had no chance at the playoffs, the Eagles took their foot off the gas peddle. I think the final score is pretty irrelevant. When the game was somewhat meaningful, the defense let them go right through them like a hot knife through butter.
