District 9-4A

Denison
Lovejoy
McKinney North
Prosper
Sherman
The Colony
Wylie
Wylie East

What are the chances of either/both being competitive in this district?

If it happened it'd be a tough district.....Sherman is very good...Wylie East will be scary on offense next year...Wylie is always tough....North made the playoffs a year ago...

I wonder if Prosper is going to build a new stadium or renovate the current one? Their current stadium is way to small for 4a.

Top 5, in no particular order:
Sherman
Prosper
Wylie
Wylie East
Lovejoy
I think Wylie East would end up as the 5th place team. They're graduating a TON.

Denison has been down for 2 years and I don't know what they have coming back but you can bet they won't be down long.
OBTW, yes, Prosper is building a new football stadium.

Write this down: Gary Joe Kinne will be gone before Denison is back.

Maybe. All I am saying is that Denison has pretty good tradition and they expect to win there.

Definitely. They might not be back in the finals, but there's a reason they're not any better than they are. It has a lot to do with the reason that Sherman is so good right now, too :)

When are they building it?

They should be in it next season. It has been under constuction this year, across the street from the high school.

East loses 24 seniors...but they return most of their offense intact including a D-1 RB, his backup who had a big season, their QB who was just a soph and a really good TE....Lepsis told me before the season started 2012 was the year he thought they'd be real good...Prosper's losing a lot also..I think that combined with the jump to 4A could make it tough on them..

Here's the district I've predicted:

Denison
Denton
Denton Guyer
Lake Dallas
Lovejoy
McKinney North
Prosper
Sherman

I also predict the 5 Frisco 4A schools will go with Little Elm, Carrollton Creekview and The Colony.

Those D-1 receivers are coming back too. Explosive offense!!

I predict one or both make the playoffs in what ever district they end up with.

That would leave WF Rider and Old High where? They have had their wagon hitched to the Denton ISD schools normally.

Three Saginaw ISD schools, two Northwest ISD schools and Azle.

Northwest HS is 5a and isn't moving down anytime soon. Byron Nelson won't be far behind.

They have not even broke ground on the stadium site.
