View Full Version : Could we see Aledo, Stephenville, Mineral Wells, and others in 3A next year?

Ft. Worth area school official says that 3A could cut off at or just below 1,000 students. Could we see Aledo and others dropping into 3A?
That would be very interesting.
It would also mean that a lot of smaller 3A schools would drop down too.

i dont think the number will be that high....dopnt really see that happening

Aledo is over 1000 anyway...

Can't see them raising it that high unless they do something really different this year and raise the low end of 3A as well.

there is a good chance...the more i think about it, there are a lot of new schools being built. And most of those new schools are 4a or 5a size...a lot of people thik that there is a set number that UIL looks at when it comes to reallighnment but its not. They go into it like this...we want X number of 5A schools...X number of 4A schools...etc...and depending on how many schools they put into each classification the low number can change dramatically.
