I just received an e-mail that stated:
"Former Celina coach G. A. Moore has recently been selected to be inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2011. This is the highest tribute that can be paid any athlete or coach in the State of Texas. He will be enshrined, along with the other inductees, during a special banquet held in Waco on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The other 2011 inductees are: Shawn Andaya, Gary Blair, Mack Brown, Fred Couples, Dave Parks, Tobin Rote, Bubba Smith, Lovie Smith and Andre Ware."
Pretty good company, and quite a body of work.
