very true but i think that ref offense is so talented that it will be much harder to make adjusments. lets see what Herring and that staff come up with. all the talk before the game about running up the score dont matter a bit now. its all about football.

After watching last nights 2A Div 1 SC game between Melissa and Hempstead, neither of these 2 teams ( Refugio/Cisco) could keep up with either of those 2. Refugio and Cisco look and play like 2A football... Melissa and Hempstead looked more like 3A and some 4A.

What do ya think?

well im not sure i would say that ref couldnt keep up. they may not have an elite D but their offense is very powerful. would be interesting though

Im saying they are just as good because they have made alot of mistakes and in an offense like that you cant make mistakes! Thats what I'm saying and they are just as good IMO!

I only saw a little bit of the game at lunch but he had one hell of a defensive play in the endzone...tipping the ball away from the WR.. Congrats to both teams getting in the SC game and double congrats to the Bobcats on the championship! :clap:

He got burned badly on the play and was bailed out by a very under thrown ball. I was really unimpressed with Refugio's defense. They were just lucky cisco's qb couldn't throw very well

I really think Cisco wouldve ripped off another long run had they just kept pounding it. They had 2 TOs.

No way one of these teams is better than the other, except on the scoreboard by a single point. Two great teams duking it out for 4 Quarters of great Texas Highschool football...I applaud both of them---with congrats to Refugio for winning the SC and undefeated season, and to Cisco for having the heart to come back time and again, plus having a great season, also.

I didn't say Refugio's defense wasn't that good, I just don't think #10 was defensive player of the game.
It appears that when they give out the POW's of the game it's ALWAYS the winning team that gets it.
I think it should have been one of the players from Cisco, they made all the big hits. JMO.
