Awesome comeback win, scoring the winning td with 2 seconds left.

If NO finishes off tenn, then the Texans are in the playoffs for the first time in franchise history

Playoffs!!!

Amen!!

I was an Oiler fan during the Luv Ya Blue/Earl Campbell years. Good to see Houston back in the playoffs! Company I worked for had seats in the Club level so I went to several games. Problem is I can't remember too many because that was back in my drinkin days but I'm sure I had fun!

But what? They won't win?

Why not? They're 3-0 with their backups starting... Went into Cincy and beat a good team on the road without Andre.

Hopefully the texans can get a bye and their defense will keep them in it versus any team in the nfl.

They can play with/beat anyone if Yates plays like he did today.

Take your pessimistic ass somewhere else ump.

Have to give credit to Wade Phillips defense during this winning streak

Someone is being overly defensive.

Classy move by Kubiak to award a game ball to Andre Johnson, who has been with the team since Season 2. He's endured more than his share of heartbreak over the years

I was a die hard oiler fan forever. Went to every home game for about a ten year span and a fan for way more than that. When Houston finally got another team I was sooooo happy because a true Lv ya Blue guy can not and I repeat can not be a "cryboy" fan!! Its a shame no Schaub, but we will go with the cards we have. It is the year of the Texans, Wimberley and Houston.

I have been waiting since 93 for Houston to get back in the playoffs. The city of Houston still has a bad taste in their mouth from losing to KC back then.

If the Texans finish the season tied for the best record in the AFC Houston has the tiebreaker and would have home field advantage in the playoffs.

Even more amazing when you look at who is on injured reserve.......

QB Matt Schaub
QB Matt Leinart
LB Mario Williams
P Brett Hartmann
OL Kasey Studdard
FS Dominique Barber

Andre Johnson might as well be on Injured Reserve as he has been out most of the season and has been a non-factor since week 2
Arian Foster missed 2.5 games with hammy issues

Everytime someone goes down, another player steps up and does the job

Kind of ironic they get it done this year without their main starters, and last year had the team that would have had a real chance to go deep but couldn't keep from shooting themselves in the foot in the 4th quarter when it really counted. But I'm still pumped to see them make it. They could be a real surprise, even without Shaub.

Congratulations to the Texans for getting into the playoffs! They've fought through a lot of adversity to get in, too. Injuries are usually a big setback for most teams, but the Texans have fought through them like a true TEAM. I credit that to good coaching, and a never-say-die attitude that they have played with. At least we know one Texas team that knows HOW TO CLOSE OUT GAMES!:stirpot:

You can add starting right guard Mike Brisiel to the list. Out with a fractured fibula. Had surgery this morning, hopeful for a playoff return.
Man, makes their run that much more impressive.

Injuries now trickling down to the coaching staff. Wade Phillips taking a medical leave of absence to have a procedure done. He will address the procedure after today's practice.
