Prayer Request

My grandfather has been in hospice care for about 2 years (usually something where they are only expected to be around 6 months or so), but I got word yesterday that the doctors think he may only have a few more days with us. I was hoping he could hang on a little longer and be able to see me graduate Saturday, but it does not look like this will be possible. Please if you wouldn't mind, pray that he be at peace and for comfort for my family. Although it's hard, I know he is ready to see my grandmother once again.

Prayers from Giddings. A friend of a friend from Bastrop got married on the Saturday before the big fire (which destroyed his parents home and many belongings). A few weeks later in retrospect, he said it was "both the greatest and worst week" of his life. I say this because your post seems that you have the Lord in your life. It is tough that your grandfather may pass when you are about to graduate, but he WILL be in a better place for eternity if he has proclaimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior. If you (or someone in the family) could go pray and possibly re-witness him, it could bring him comfort now, and years later, it will bring you comfort.

I've never gotten on my "soap box" like this online before, and I hope what I typed can be viewed as a positive. It's just hard to say these things online in such a PC world.

May the Lord bless your family and bring you all comfort Scott.
