I'm finally got a free lance job for writing for a newspaper
Got to write one sports story feature for the El Campo Leader News about a former athlete going to Afganhistan to be a physical thearpist. Also wrote a news story about the Wharton County District Attorney not running for another term.
I had covered Louise football home games in the fall
Sure is different writing a news story- I did however cover school board meetings when I worked at Herald Coaster in Rosenberg back in 1987
Writing two stories a week is a start and it won't hurt my unemployment benefits.
Needville paper is also looking for a reporter to cover school board meetings. Hopefully I can get that assignment.
