Ah yes.....Freebird..great song indeed.....I used to love Skynyrd. Anybody want the original album cover of "Street Survivors" before it was pulled off the shelves after their plane wreck? If you recall, the cover showed them surrounded by flames...the record company thought it was in bad taste and pulled it. Only so many copies made it out. Soon it was re-released with a new cover & no flames....anyway, I got an original one and I'll sell it to ya cheap!.....Last offer I got was $200!.....
Skynyrd don't do it for me much anymore....all of a sudden I realized they were just a little too redneck for me (especially when I saw Greendawg in the crowd of one of their concert videos!).........which reminds me of the time I was standing in the middle of the crowd of a Molly Hatchet concert (remember them?). I suddenly thought of that famous line in "Blazing Saddles", "Where are all the white women at?"...well shoot, they were all at the Molly Hatchet concert!!!........OK, OK, go ahead and say it, "well I hope ol' Cam will remember, a southern man don't need him around anyhow".......:taunt:.....well kiss my ass goodbye then!!!.....:stirpot:....and please remember, I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally!......:kiss:
