Massey picked 5 out of 6 for 83%. Pretty good work for a math model. Just 4 games left. Three next week and one the week after. Should be fun. Good luck to everyone.

I'm sorry, I did this by hand each week of the playoffs. Massey usually updates on Tuesday, and I would take the new games and see how they were predicted and then check the outcomes and do the next group each week. As far as I know they don't do a history. It is all about where they are now. I posted the top 20 for pre-season and then checked a couple of times through out the year to see how things change.

Here is the link to Massey's current ratings and match-up predictions for all Texas High School football: http://www.highschoolsports.net/massey/state/Texas/Football/Varsity/Boys/2011/

I really like highschoolsports.net. More information than Maxpreps, just less functionality.

I followed your link, but it did not have an opponent for Wimberley. I assumed it would be Coldspring and it showed Coldspring by 1 point. That may not change, but it could. It appears that while this weekend scores have been updated, the program rankings have not. That update could happen today or tomorrow. When I am sure the program has updated I will post the predictions and Massey's top 20. Just looking at the results of the last couple of games, I think you are right, not much difference between Wimberley and Coldspring. Not much room for either to make an error. Statistically, it is a coin toss. Just don't tell that to the coaches and the kids, they don't think they are a statistic. Good luck.
