Angleton's TJ Austin lays a nice block to spring Richard Cooper into the open field, and Cooper sprints 66 yards for a touchdown. The Wildcats can't convert a two-point conversion, but they lead 9-7 over Pearland Dawson with 8:09 remaining in the second quarter.

Pearland Dawson's Garry Kimble scores another 15-yard TD, giving the Eagles a 14-9 lead over Angleton with 6:28 until halftime.

After Richard Cooper was helped off the field with an injury, Josh West, TJ Austin and Ryan Jackson Jr. carried the load, as Austin scored a TD from the half-yard line with 1:54 remaining in the second quarter. The Wildcats can't convert their second two-point conversion attempt of the half, but they lead once again over Pearland Dawson, 15-14.

Wow surpised at that score. Callalen was man handled earlier this year by PLC, who was just beat by Tivy last week. Tivy also beat 5a San Antonio Madison earlier this year. Teams can change alot throughout the course of a season.

I just left the Calallen/Tivy game and Calallen played outstanding on both sides of the ball. Callalen didn't have really any trouble moving the ball on Offense after the 1st qtr and contained Tivy's very elusive QB for the most part.

Actually Dorsey was the starter but broke his finger in the first qtr of the Calhoun game, and the backup (McCurley) had just transferred in during the summer and didn't really know all the plays. Dorsey returned for the 3rd or 4th game and they've been humming ever since.
