Teams moving up in class with continued success?

The 4a to 3a thread got me to thinking. Even though it is much harder to have success moving up in a division, several teams have. I know of Goldthwaite in the 80-90's Southlake carrol in the 90's Who else?

the program dropping in my life time that probably had the most success were the Daingerfield teams of the 80's....they dropped from 4A(& old 3A that was equal to present day 4A)....went on some great runs including a team most consider to be one of the best to ever play.

Everman's been real strong since moving back to 4A....Smithson Valley when they went back to 5A had good success....how about Denton Guyer and Cibolo Steele both played for the 5A title in the first year as a 5A school last year

What schools have back to back state championship appearances in different Classes. For instence I believe Goldthwaite did it it 1A in 85 and 2A in 86, But dont quote me because my memory is fading. lol

southlake was probably the most sucessfull moving up from 4a...5 SCs in a row, winning 4 in 5a...amazingly enough during their 6 year 4a run, the best they did was semis..after 3 SCs in 3a.

Thats true and Aledo too if I remember correctly, went they moved up from 3A.

smithson I believe had back to back one in 4A lost ot to Ryan and than if I remember right lost the next season to SLC....maybe on a last second fg.

Lake Travis was 3A for a long time if I remember right and got their lungs kicked in. Now they are a 4A powerhouse about to go to 5A next year and probably will still keep dominating!

Tatum won a 3A title and then dropped and won a 2A title the next year....Mart I think did it also....Canadian also?
