probably because there was no conspiracy. the penalty was called on a 1st down, and only took the Horns to their own 39 yard line. in the whole scheme of the game, pretty inconsequential.

Seriously?

Inconsequential?

Would have been 2nd and 10 instead of a first down. Gave them 15 yards that helped them barely get into FG range for Tucker to hit a fairly long fg. They would have been out of FG range without those 15 yards, wouldnt have had a first down, and A&M's defense wouldnt have been standing around going *** giving up the long run to mcCoy to seal the drive.

You can argue whether it was the right call or not, but you just simply cant say it was inconsequential. that just stupid. Right call or not, it directly influenced the outcome of the game.

The defense shouldn't have been standing around goin *** and let CASE MCCOY pretend to be his big brother.

ok?

good point, emerson...?

i think the entire stadium, all the coaches/players, and all the fans watching on tv were simulataneously wondering ***? Hard to regain your composure in 1 play after you feel you've been screwed, whether that feeling is justified or not.

please. do you really think the same calls would have been made by the offense if it had been 2nd and 15 instead of 1st and 10?? BOTH teams adjusted (or should have adjusted) to the call made and the difference in field position.

For real! I'm not a fan of either team, but have enough sense to know what when the two sets start posting on the same thread about one or the other or both, it's SSDD.
