Read in the paper that our Jr. RB got offensive MVP. Our other Jr. RB got 1st team as well. Our Sr. Dlineman was co-defensive mvp. we then had several 1st and 2nd teamers on both sides of the ball.

The complete All District team came out today in our local paper, overall top honors look to be very worthy. When picking teams some positions are debatable on who really is most deserving, while other are clear cut. The positions like QB,RB,WR and other positions that have District stats right in front of each coach while picking teams , seems like those would be easier to pick with stats to look at. Unforunately some coaches disreguard what a kid has done on the field and rather give his player something he knows he does not deserve, most players know where they stand in their District talent wise. Before you go off on me, I will say last year my son received 2nd team all district in baseball as a pitcher for throwing 3 innings in District. He new that was not right and did not feel good about it knowing he took this award away from someone more deserving, I know how All District meeting work so I am smart enough to know these things happen. Congrats to those that made the teams, it was a very competitive District.
