I can remember when I covered a East Bernard at Katy game in 1973 at the old Tiger Stadium in Katy.

I went to this game. Never seen a 5A game before this one. I expected Katy to win as did most but La Porte pulled off the upset. Katy and La Porte both had good defenses, but La Portes was GREAT. And their offense just proved to be a little better than Katy's. Katy's QB also played bad.
