I meant to point out against a good defense like LH that their production not as much. I believe from what I know about LH that the Wimberley Defense is at least that good against the run. Maybe not but that is my assessment. Both teams are very well coached in that regard.

LH defense was very good this year. Sadler is terrific but Devine is obviously one deminsional and this is not a knock. You go with what brung ya. LH made 2 mistakes, Devine made none and thats how good teams win close games. If Devine had made as many mistakes early against LH as they did against Wharton it would probably have been a different outcome. Bottom line is that Devine has a very good O-line and a very good and patient runner in Sadler. They line up and play to their strength and dare you to stop them. When you do they throw the occasional against the grain trap for 10-15 yards just to give you something to think about. Ii havent seen Wimberley play this year so i cant say who wins but I do know that the further along you go the more difficult it will be to go one dimensional. Good luck to both.

Yes, it's amazing what this kid get's done out of his body frame. Make's this story even more amazing.

With his heart, football smarts and determination, I say you could put 30-40 muscle pounds on him, and he'd be a light's out fullback for a system that uses a FB.

One of the things that impressed me about Sadler's performance last night is that he had 41 carries, which is a load of work for anyone, but he also played the whole game on defense as well. At least is seemed that way form listening to the radio broadcast. What coluld he do if he were fresh?

I didn't think Wharton was going to bring anyone. Then about 30 minutes before start, they appeared. Sinton fan's got there around 2PM it appeared. Long pre-sale Warhorses ticket line. Seen them tailgating and playing horse shoes. If that stadium holds 5,000, I'd say 5,000 was there when you count those standing by the fence.

I have no doubt that some D1 school will come calling on Mr. Sadler. His talent level is too great to ignore, regardless of size. Just watching limited filmclips tells me that much. I think he will get his shot. He appears to be a fine upstanding young man, and I wish him the best in his journey thru life.
