I am not going to bash any coaches, players, refs. These are just some of my observations.

1. Navasota KO return team- Navasota decides to play a freshman as one of the deep backs. First kick return results in a fumble that CHILL recovers inside the Navasota 10 give or take. Next play, td Bulldogs.

Next ko, same freshman returner makes a critical mistake by stepping out of bounce at the 5 yrd line. A few plays later, CHILL was up 13-0 with 10 min left in the first quarter.

I understand the learning curve here, but, at the same time, these mistakes turned out to be a huge factor in the game. IMO, this was not the time to put a freshman out there when you haven't had problems with your KO return team thus far. Go with what has gotten you this far.

2. Score, Navasota 46 CHILL 41 with 10 min to go. Navasota does a pooch kick giving the Bulldogs great starting position at the 50. Our kicker can kick the ball. I have watched him all season kick the ball for touchbacks. Additionally, we hadn't had any problems covering on KO's. I am not sure the logic of getting them such a short field when we really hadn't stopped them all night.

3. CHILL up 49-46, Navasota has the ball with 8 min to go. We have been moving the ball all night. On this series, we go three and out after three incompletions. Why not forced CHILL to stop the run. Yes, our passing game was effective all night. Thus, this should have, IMO, opened up the running game some.

After it is all said and done, We are proud of our Rattlers. After 5 straight losses in the Quarterfinals, maybe next year we will get to the semis.

Congrats CHILL, great game Rattlers!

Congrats CHILL, great game Rattlers! I know me and my family were crowded around my phone listening to the game on the radio on the way in from the WC/LV game and we were really pulling for your rattlers. Really disappointed but a hell of an effort from Navasota. Were gonna try and get it done for you guys next week.

Thanks Sag, you guys can do it. IMO,CHILL was more dominant last season.. They are very vulnerable against the pass. we will be rootin for you guys. Good Luck!

We gotta slow it down against Chill. I dont think we'll win a shootout. Too much offensive firepower for the bulldogs and thats not our game.

If we wanna win, we have to play WC style football. Solid defense and limit big plays! Run the ball. Make plays, especially on special teams! Dont make mistakes. If we do that, we'll have a good chance to win. If we have to adjust and play chill's kinda game, it'll be a long night. Looking forward to it!

We definitely played well enough to win... Unfortunately, so did CHILL. CHILL will be tough to beat, but, I think that it call be done.

Navasota sure didn't look to have much defense to speak of, but the three defensive TDs were definitely exciting. It is just sad that we had four takeaways and still gave up 56 points, 13 of which were off our turnovers not even a minute in to the game.
