View Full Version : TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY I'M 55 YEARS OLD!

Yep the double nickle and some senior citizen's discount eligibility (along with respect due to being a senior citizen - yea right! lol). I would have thought someone was crazy if they had told me a year ago I would be writing a post and being happy for that but when you have had to have had surgery for cancer and it has been successful you realize that you are blessed to be alive and it changes your view point. Anyway to get really to the main part of my message (and be out of character for a minute and be serious) I want to remind everyone it is very important to get a yearly medical checkup because they can cure and treat a lot of things if it is caught in early stages. This is important no matter what your age but it is especially important if you are in your forties or over. I am looking forward to another year of high school sports that will be starting soon. God Bless all of you and if you don't belive in God then Bless you anyway!

Sinton66......oh no, only Ya Ya's know where THE tree is, it being our secret ritual site, and all. The magic there would be way too much for a mere mortal........(especially for one so advanced in age!!LOL!!)

lol! You are right about the magic being to rough for me YA YA! :) Besides my birthday is over now so the celebration draws to a close as that day ends. But I am still celebrating the Spurs beating the Nets for the NBA championship!

Oh and thank all of you for your birthday wishes to me on this post! And thanks to the Owls for keeping the national championship in college baseball in Texas and especilly thanks to the Spurs for beating the Nets in June and getting the NBA championship!
