Your opinion on an idea

So I was thinking of writing an Android/iPhone app that would allow users to view and update 3A scores, that way we are not stuck at football games waiting for the announcer to give them or constantly refreshing internet pages and going through threads trying to find scores on the fly.

I got 8 months to work on it. lol

Would you guys actually use something like that, or would it be a waste of my time?

If you have an Iphone theres an app called friday night football scores.. I update alvarado games on there... Pretty cool app..

There are 2-3 free apps out there already. The Friday Night Rivals is pretty much perfect.
