Snyder is a good team with 1 absolute superstar. Very scrappy defense that gets after it. I have a feeling Snyder will run in to a bigger faster team that can neutralize Ward and their season will end.

But I'm not sure if Kennedale meets that criteria.

Don't know much about Kennedale except what I've read on here... I do know quite a bit about Snyder. Above average team speed, slightly on the smallish side up front, super aggressive defense... and a 6'0" 200 lb QB that runs the read option with legit 4.38 speed. Very elusive once he gets going too. You may keep him corralled for a good portion of the game, but he will break a couple off sooner or later. I for one am glad to see him graduate. Snyder by 10...

Ward is a star but I don't think he is 6'0" and 200 lb. He is legite though, whatever size he is. He is fun to watch. I too am glad he is moving on after this year and look forward to watching him in red and black.

Davis is 6' 215 . we will also be sad to see ward graduate . He still has some unfinished business before he leaves Snyder though.

I never would have thought Kennedale would beat Decatur after losing to us 55 - 0. We were not expecting to roll that easy on Kennedale. Since then, it appears Kennedale has worked out their issues of replacing a very good starting QB and the offensive line must be greatly improved.

Synder has several quality wins (Seminole, Brownwood, Wylie) and will be too much for Kennedale in my opinion. But I would love to see my fellow 8-3a team win.

Snyder has a 5'5 or 5'6 140# LB that looks like a 6th grader. Then, you just have to see it for yourself as to how disruptive he is. Pound for pound, one of the best pure defensive players I've seen. Kennedale better do lots of reps on snap count this week. I'll set the over/under at 5 for the # of false start/procedure penalties against Kennedale. He's about as much fun to watch on defense as Ward is on offense.

Kennedale's defense has to bring it this week. No seniors on the defense, bad for this year, great for next year. Only two seniors start on offense, so Kennedale is very very young. They should be proud of this year no matter the outcome.

I watched Graham play Snyder last week. Graham had two many mistakes or it would have been a different outcome. They let Ward loose in the 2nd half for a couple of runs. He is a really good athlete. I will agree with Tincup, without Ward Snyder would not win this one (and probably would not have won last week).

All starting three are really good and they are juniors. Last week was the first week all three played since week 4.

Tough game to call. Snyder has a pretty good "D" and a take-it-to-the-house-on-any-play QB. However, there is just something about Kennedale since they got healthy and they are on a pretty good roll since the Glen Rose game. They also handled a pretty athletic Decatur team with a very good running QB last week---so I'm going with Kennedale by 7 in this one--they seem to be peaking at the right time.

Dude, I wish Snyder the best. Hope they win. Ward is an amazing athlete. Comparing Big Spring to Kennedale athlete wise is apples and oranges. Kennedale usually has some of the fastest kids around.

K's defense was fairly stout and frustrated Decatur by halftime. I agree with the comment earlier of Kennedale overcoming injuries and peaking at the right time. Don't know if it will be enough to top Snyder.

Oh yeah,IMO he has a highly underrated arm. We have had a hard time finding receivers that can catch the ball, consistently. Jv qb moved up and seems to be able to catch, as well as Davis. Very capable of opening up the run game by simply completing a few passes.

If Snyder can connect on a couple pass plays early and make Kennedale think about the pass a little, Snyder could roll. Having said that, I think the Wildcats have just enough to get past Snyder - possibly on a late special teams or defensive touchdown.

Kennedale has not really overcome injuries this year, several injured players still did not play last week. Many young players have just stepped up because they had to. Some young talent has stood out. Kennedale will be a BEAST next year if these kids keep progressing! Hoping they can pull the "upset" Friday night.

I really wish the young man all the luck in the world as he is all-american caliber, even though he is smallish, he is a great athlete! It was amazing to watch his HS career develop, glad he is moving on to greater things :wave:. Be glad to see him on the field at any level unless they are playing Texas, then will reserve those breaths when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. You just don't see this talent at any level very often!!

Kennedale did well with such young kids. We bring back almost everybody, so looking forward to next year ( 9 on offense, 11 on defense).
