Lovejoy won this game despite fumbling the ball SEVEN times (losing four). This game was not nearly as close as it seemed. The defense was dominating the entire second half.

Should be a good one next week.

Completely agree with you. But just for reference, Lovejoy lost 4 fumbles to Celina last year and won 17-0. Lightning rarely strikes the same place twice, though.

I believe Celina also had 4 turnovers.

They had 3 lost fumbles and a couple of really key penalties. I seem to remember an offsides on Celina on a 4th and 1 that was costly early in the 4th quarter.

Lovejoy had a looong snap count. That hard snap count and the faked field goal where keys to the game. Turning the ball over in the red zone (twice I believe) could have been disastrous. But the D held.
