If Brownwood wins Thursday I may go see this one Friday night in Aledo since we would play the winner. Will the game be better than it was in week 1 when the two teams matched up?

The first one was good until the middle of the fourth. We were up 36-29 and then we ran out of gas.
Now we have a much improved defense as we demonstrated last Friday. So yea I believe it will be a lower scoring and closer game. I may have to go to breckenridge on Thursday myself

Shoot out the first time---look for another this time. I always like the Bulls' chances in a shootout. Should be another good game.

This will be a shoot out til late in the game where Bport will pull away for a 14 point win!!! We will score early and often!

tha bulls by 10 or more...look bports qb to have a huge game. Henson is a wizard when it comes playoff time. Bports under the radar since the poor showing to prosper which I believe would have been much closer game considering the rainy conditions. Good luck bulls!

5Wide--is that you? :D Thanks for the confidence in the Bulls---but I do feel Glen Rose will play a better game against the Bulls this time. However, I don't think Glen Rose has the "D" to hold down the triplets---Mullins, Schuett, and Huerta--they make yards in a flash...

BTW---I think the Eagles win over Kennedale. I don't think this Kennedale team is as strong as some in years past, and I think the Eagles have one of the most athletic teams they have ever had. Sure would be great if the Bulls and Eagles could make it far enough to meet in the playoffs. Best of luck to the Eagles til' then...

I think Bridgeport's offense will prove to be too much for Glen Rose. When the bulls are hitting on all cylinders they can put points on the board extremely quick.

From what we all witnessed last Friday night, Glen Rose can definitely pull this one off. Granted that Bridgeport has one of the best passing offenses in the area and Alvarado did not pass very often, but when we did, I think Glen Rose got two interceptions. I think this one go down to the wire. I'll give the edge to Bridgeport by 7.

So I believe that the score wll not be as high as it was in the first matchup. This game can go either way, I believe whoever wins will do so by a td or less.

we have a winner!
Ok so what are your thoughts?
Will Bridgeport win round 2 or Does Glen Rose's improved "D" make a difference in game 2
Personally I think the game will be lower scoring and a much closer. The type of game that is won in the last few minutes.
Good Luck to both!

Same here. I'll be at the Sville/Everman game in Weatherford Friday night. If that game is going as expected and Sville is dominating, I'll slide over to Aledo to catch the 2nd half of the Glen Rose/Bridgeport game... on the account that Brownwood wins tomorrow night. :)

Is the Glen Rose QB the same one that played against us week 0? I think I read somewhere on a thread that he got hurt or something, just curious.

Yep, Brownwood in a big way... QB banked up but will be ready by next Friday. Who will it be? Bulls or Tigers? Good luck to both. Whoever it is, will have their work cut out for them!! :)

Wow! What a cardiac stress-tester. The Bulls were a lot like the Rangers in Game 6--they had several opportunities to bring home the win, but just couldn't get it done on the defensive side of the ball. All credit to the Glen Rose Tigers for the win---they hung tough and did what it took to get the win. Best of luck against Brownwood next week.

I had a feeling after the first quarter it was coming down to the last possession. I was just hoping we could hang it there with y'all in order to have a chance.
