what the hell is going on over there? were these college students this coach allegedly molested or kids that were there visiting or what?!?Apparently they were minors in their early teens and they think some were younger. The story mentions The Second Mile, a foundation Jerry Sandusky founded to help at-risk kids. Unfortunate story coming out of State College.http://m.espn.go.com/ncf/story?storyId=7201952

How do you just only tell Joe Pa and not try to do something to stop it.

I can see why the GA told Joe Pa and just was going to let him handle it.

The media is keeping this really tame compared to the DAs report - http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/uploadedFiles/Press/Sandusky-Grand-Jury-Presentment.pdf

Everyone who turned a blind eye to this should be ashamed of themselves!!! Just terrible.

Earlier this year Law & Order SVU aired an episode that resembles these allegations.

Jerry Sandusky started the second mile so he could have access to little boys. They need to pour honey on him and tie him to a fire ant pile untill he is dead!

Probably not harsh enough.

Probably not harsh enough.

He will be in for a few shower soaping sessions when he goes from Penn State to the State Pen....... Some of those at risk boys may have dads and uncles waiting for him on the inside :twitch:

Course he will probably get protective custody and probation.

This situation is sickening...makes me wanna vomit and take back all my positive thoughts on Paterno. Especially if the eye witness account of the coach sexually assaulting the kid in the shower is true.

I know we shouldn't all rush to judgment, but it is so hard not to with all the evidence stacking up. That NONE of these "educated" men stood for what is right and involve the authorities is just unbelievable and very sad.

I'm pissed at McQueary for not helping the kid.
I'm pissed at Joe Pa for disregarding this and also being an enabler.

I agree. By his own admission he should/could be charged with accessory after the fact. It makes me sick!

Disgusting. The kids that were molested is horrifying enough, but also imagine having played under this fruit and finding out about this. Sickening. He damaged so many kids lifes beyond what they already were. Sick man, very sick.

Reminds me of the Soprano's. It was all family business and it was kept in the family. Even to the point of giving the GA that saw the crime a cush job for life (as long as Joe Pa was around). The fish stinks from the head and Paterno is the Don make no mistake. Lots will fall while he keeps himself clean. He will soon announce his planned retirement and PSU will clean house.
