I just read the box score on Dallas Morning News: Kennedale compiles 627 yards of offense with a 58-22 victory! I knew Rex and Weldon had good games, but 627 yards of offense (Rex and Weldon combined for more than half of that, plus 5 TDs).

4th Quarter
1 play
1 TD

Harper gets no publicity. He has been starting at tailback for the past 3 years and has averaged a little over 10 yards a carry. He had 1500 yards rushing as a soph. 1600 yards last year. He could easily have had over 2000 last year if he would have gotten to play more than just the first half in 4 district games.
This kid is awesome.

Here's an idea, the only competition on Kennedale's schedule is Game 4 vs. Everman, Game 5 vs. Castleberry, and Game 9 vs. Glen Rose. The only thing Kennedale will be warming up in November will be the Chuck Taylors.

After last years game, the were quoted as saying "the didn't know Harper was that fast". This was one week after Harper ripped Everman for almost 200 yards.

His sophomore season was split with Gary Petty (FB) who also ran for over 1,000 yards. He could easily bloat his stats if he played an entire game, but he sat for the 4th quarter last night.

Morris is cold...He had wat 2 picks, and one of them was a 1-handed grab close to the ground. Rex and Chris weren't the only ones that did good, Weldon did great too. We still gotta work on the defense though...but every week it's gonna get a bit better cause 2 of our linebackers are linebackers. OL could use a bit of work too, but overall a great game.

Next up Dallas Smith
