I have banked with them and had their insurance for over 25 years.

I banked them for a little while, but not having a local branch made it difficult. Especially depositing cash. I've had their Life/Auto insurance for about 15 years.

I have banked with them and not a problem. My son who is in the Air Force banks with them and is happy. All of my insurance is with them, great company to do business with.

They said you can deposit your checks at various UPS Store locations. I don't usually carry cash on me. Do they charge per use of debit card?

There is no fee for using it as a debit card. USAA Bank refunds up to $15 in other banks' ATM usage fees each month and does not charge a fee for the first 10 ATM withdrawals. Subsequent transactions will be charged $2.00 each. A 1% foreign transaction fee applies to withdrawals outside the United States.

"Subsequent transactions will be charged $2.00 each."

What does that mean?

I have 2 checks right now but I don't have a way to start the checking account with $25 due to those checks not being in my current account.

ANy ATM withdrawl after 10 in a month will cost you $2 per (unless it is from a USAA ATM)
