Did people forget that Hondo beat Sinton this year by the score of 28-0 in Sinton. That should mean somthing, just saying.

A good point. It most likely won't happen but I would really like for the two teams to meet in the playoffs. I think the second game will be much better and closer.

you're probably right, not taking anyway from Sinton but that game wasn't close at all. people remember when Gonzales beat Sam Houston (27-0) and were ready to send them packing. just saying.

Actually, it was closer than the score indicates. It's true we didn't play very well and looked completely lost, but that was game 1 and I'd love to play Hondo again right now. just saying.

I'm not a big fan on playing twice a year, especially when it was a big loss in your back yard. Just saying.

we'll see. I think he was playing in the Somerset game cause the other during warm-ups was off target and much slower. I also believe that all there starters are back. I'll check to comfirm.

I thought he was done for year (broken elbow) I have no reliable sources, Was in Hondo one day and asked some old timer at Herman Sons. Be great if he is back, especially this week, no excusses.

That should mean somthing, just saying.I think that there is a big difference between losing in Week 0 vs losing in Week 9. In my opinion, Sinton lost at the right time. Early, when they were still figuring some things out. Looks like they have improved a lot since the loss to Hondo. As for Hondo, I thought they would head into the Devine game undefeated. Taking nothing away from Somerset, but I thought Hondo would beat them.

If it means anything, Ill submit a late top 10 with the top 10 at the top of the page, but ill put wimberley at 10, and move everyone else up one spot. That ought to give WC enough points to be #1 in reg 4.:clap::clap:

Starting qb Cade Rosenbaum has not played since being injured. Not completely sure of his status but rumors are that he might return. Corner Donovan Gutierrez is also still out although he warmed up before the Somerset game then changed back into street clothes. I was very disappointed with the Owls effort last Friday. The took a 19-0 lead then let off the gas as if they were playing a weak team. Somerset is certainly not weak. Hopefully the Owls rebound this week against Devine but I would not bet on it.
