Are there any good places to eat in Goliad? We have some big eaters going there to catch the Sinton and Goliad game.

the La Bahia has reopened (on Hwy 183 S ) haven't heard any comments... Used to have great Mexican Food.. there some neat cafes downtown but I dont' know their hours.. will try to find out and let you know..

We stopped at La Bahia and ate before a volleyball game a couple of weeks ago. The mexican food was really good and the burgers were good also. A real hamburger, with a lot of meat! I heard that the Hanging Tree restaurant on the square was really good also!

I looked up the Hanging Tree, they have an online menu and it looks good...

Coming from Victoria-They used to have this motel on the left and there was a Mexican Cafe inside-Forgot the name of the motel and t the cafe-This was a long time ago that I passed through there

The Emporium downtown across from the Courthouse has great home cooking. Try their Chicken fried Steak . Huge, it covers the whole plate.

Down past Whataburger on the right headed towards Beeville is a mexican restaurant and it is pretty good. Don't know the name of it though.

Moya's chicken fried steak isnt bad.......other than that, i avoid it.

maybe find something decent in victoria on the way.
