I must say I'm very surprised to see this team undefeated in district. I had my doubts starting the season with a freshman QB and inexperienced lineman. Didn't think we would win a game in district. Never underestimate the heart of a Sinton Pirate! Great job boys and finish strong against Goliad.

Would like to have had the freshman start the season, he looked pretty good in the scrimmages but i understand Jr qb deserved a shot as the starter in that first game of the season. Defense held together well even though they had a new DC took a few games but they seem to have picked up well his defensive scheme. Sinton doesn't go for the homerun pass much, but they've been very good lately in moving it downfield with minimal mistakes.

Finish it off Pirates! I'm either going to the Port Isabel at Rio Hondo game or Rockport Fulton at Mathis game.

Sure, last year we sat on the visitors side and listened to all 9 of their fans in the bleachers scream at the coaches...
This year if there is room, i want to sit on the sinton side. That way I can blend in with the sea of maroon and conduct our covert operations...

I am one of those who would rather play the best competition, especially when it is someone you know and respect. That is the only real disappointment that most have about not getting to play Sinton again. This does mean that we both should have a better chance of advancing past the first round rather that have two districts champs play and one of them be one and done.

Columbia wins and La Grulla wins look like half way point is Corpus Christi or Sinton.
