I think Rockdale has enough talent on the defense to matchup with Giddings, Also if Rockdale's QB has a good night throwing the ball he could be the difference. Should be a good ball game, we were definitely happy to pull out our first win in District last week against you guys.

I love it, we lose a game and all of the sudden, some envious people want to take the opportunity to act like we are going to stumble right out of the playoffs. Maybe it is wishful thinking, I don't know, but I don't see what would justify some of these comments, unless you are saying that Smithville isn't that good. LG people you are going to come out better tied with smithville than giddings, so watch what you ask for.

Just throwing it out there just like you have been doing, in this District anything can happen and trust Rockdale is better then you think. Like I said after Friday the picture will be much clear, everyone underestimated us after our poor showing against Bellville and we could very easily be 3-0 in District.

Here is some of the talent that I saw:
Rockdale's qb #8 Brinkley: strong arm, accurate, picks up receivers well, moves well out of the pocket
WR #15 Skubal big fast and good hands. One on one will not do it.
WR #5 Garza fast, runs routes well, catches everything he can touch
DE & mlb #10 David just a beast, turns up all over the field laying on the wood.

Rockdale has not played to their potential this year probably because of a moral issue losing two of their star athlete's including running back Daniel Brooks(to Port Lavaca Calhoun) from last year and are due for a break out game.

It could happen you never know who would have thought Giddings would get beat by Smithville last week, definitely not Giddings fans by the way they were talking. Just go ahead and assume you have Rockdale and Navasota already beat, we all seen how that worked out for you against Smithville. And yes I do think Navasota will beat Giddings the last game, so it is a must win for Giddings Friday night.

When is the last time you guys went deep in the playoffs, let's see we were a game away from playing for the State Championship in 2009. State Championships are in LG, can not remember any in Giddings. Refresh us all what you have done lately other then baseball, which was runnerups.

The way i see it both Giddings and LG have their work cut out for them. Plenty of pressure to win out for both LG and Giddings with the Buffaloes having the toughest two games to go. If LG beats struggling Caldwell as they should but loses to Smithville and the other two split then they go to the big dance and LG plays BB. The next two weeks are going to be very interesting with everything still up in the air. Best for everyone to just take each game as they come.

That leaves Giddings, La Grange and Smithville with 2 looses each with the point differential being 0 for all three (Buffs beat Lg by 3, Smithville beat Buffs by 3 and Leps beat Smithville by 3).
