Well, I would say that TLR outfoxed Wash in game one, but since, Wash has been nails. Two very solid moves - Putting Nap between Murphy and Moreland the last two games has been huge and sticking with Murphy last night against the lefty. That Murphy move was risky but it worked so he looks like a genius.

One thing about TLR, I've read a couple of things this week that the book on TLR is that he will sometimes over-manage a game. So if you will sit tight and not let him draw you into a drawn out chess match, he will sometimes outsmart himself. And the bullpen episode last night is inexcusable. That just can't happen in a WS game.

Yea I was just watching Around The Horn and one of the guys was yelling just don't let Layne pitch. Take him out before, well you have to pitch to atleast one batter unless you become injured. He really screwed it up last night.
