Just found out one of their players, #64 Adrian Pena, took his own life today. Here's the copy/paste from the 956 site.


La Grulla Gators lost one of their starters, number 64, he took his own life today. The team is devestated... the Gators are coming twice as strong against Rio Hondo for number 64, they want it, theyre hungrier than ever, R.I.P Adrian Pena, you will be in our hearts, we're going to show what La Grulla is all about and win the district championship for you...

A very sad story indeed, such a young beautiful precious life, to be lost and especially lost in this manner. My prayers and thoughts with this young person's family, friends and community.
