9-0 Fairfield

Who have they beaten and what have they got? Anybody seen them play?

We're 8-0 I have seen every game but the first game. Big running game passing game still developing. Our best win is against Palestine last Friday beat them 33-27 but we controlled the game and it wasn't that close... before that we had really no good wins to speak of.

Palestine had 350 yards against them, rushing for nearly 300. Have a feeling no one out of that district is going to get out of the first round. Fairfield is good, Palestine is fair, rest of the teams are very below average.

So is Fairfield the "worst" undefeated left in 3A, if there is such a thing?? What other undefeateds are similar to them, if any?

Palestine had 350 yards against them, rushing for nearly 300. Have a feeling no one out of that district is going to get out of the first round. Fairfield is good, Palestine is fair, rest of the teams are very below average. I was there... and those numbers aren't exactly correct.

There is the Palestine article of the game, Palestine ran for 266. My mistake, not 300.

Fairfield is good, I just do not think you can be as one sided as both of those teams are and win in the playoffs vs. good teams. I think The waco district will sweep 20-3a in my personal opinion. Madisonville was in the drivers seat for playoff birth before losing to Mexia......Mexia is 1-7. I believe Palestine Westwood is 1-7 as well, and Groesbeck is not much off. Fairfield is undefeated in a weak district, and had a week preseason.

All will sort itself out though. They just do not look as good as they were last year, and last year we all know what happened in the first round to them.
